For the price not a lot stands up to this place. Found it after getting hungry by Keck and loved their selection of food and deceptively small area opens up to a massive seating space. My players and I got 4 meals added to 38 bucks. The portions are massive and they don't skimp on the agua frescas either. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area and know this place needs more love.
This restaurant Mexican restaurant is authentic as fuck. Take it from someone who grew up in Mexico City. The food is delicious, like out of grandma's kitchen. They have the best lengua (beef tongue) tacos, combination plates, enchiladas and more. The place is clean and the service is great. Perhaps not fancy on the outside but the food and service speaks for itself. There's always a little before they even open, that tells you something.
The food is amazing--authentic Mexican food. The place is small, and you will wait for a table, but it is well worth the wait. It is not good for parties over four.

A every other weekend tradition to come here . The menudo is so delicious and amazing . The cafe de olla Their birria Their chilaquiles My hod I could go on and on . If you're in the area you definitely need to stop by. Customer service is always so good as well the ladies are always nice and sweet . A super gem in Lincoln Heights.
This place is a neighborhood favorite since 1973 ... everything on the menu is delicious .... There is always someone waiting for a table since it sooooo good.... Of course you can always get something to go if it's crowded. But you need to get there at least by noon or they might sellout of certain things , like I ordered the carnitas... and they had to check if they still had any... it's that good ... and I'm sorry I didn't post a picture of my burrito... I was totally munching on it.... Hahahaha . The restaurant is a cool classic place that is clean and comfortable with a home cooked feel to it. To some it's just a hole in the wall,, but to the community This is a jewel of the neighborhood. With all the classic Mexican traditions when it comes to the food. They cook everything the way they have been doing since they first started. Delicious food, friendly people . This place takes me back to my childhood...

The food service and ambience is very nice. Great place to have a good breakfast plus lunch and dinner. I ordered this burrito thing. I can't remember the name but I could've eaten two of them. It was so good.
